The Right Approach

At the conclusion of the assessment phase, Dell experts will have identified a scope of solution options and will provide recommendations to help maximize value.

Key activities during the assessment include:
  • Careful measurement of temperature and air flow as well as power consumption
  • Modeling of future server power and cooling requirements
  • Analysis to determine the best placement of racks, cool/hot aisles and vents
  • Recommendations for environmental enhancements to cover current and future growth needs
  • A formal assessment report to enable the next steps of design and implementation
