Dell - Delivery Time

Dell - Delivery Time

Dell recognizes the need for prompt delivery and makes every effort to ready your order for shipment as quickly as possible. The estimated time it will take to build the systems you order and ready them for shipping-the lead time-begins with the release of your order to the manufacturing facility. Release to manufacturing can occur only after full acceptance and approval of your specified payment option.

Lead time is largely dependent upon the availability of system parts. When parts are in inventory, plus customs processing, lead times are generally 2-3 weeks. However, as parts availability is a function of current worldwide supply and demand, delivery times can vary and no standard lead time can be guaranteed. Your order's estimated lead time is dependent upon the following:

  • The system and component parts you order
  • The current availability of those system and component parts
  • Custom's holding time. This depends on the custom's procedures for your country

A Dell sales representative will communicate your order's estimated lead time to you when he or she confirms your order.

Lead times do not include the time your order is in transit after it has been shipped for delivery. Time in transit will also depend on the shipping options available to you.

Once you have placed your order and received your order number, you can monitor your order's status by calling your sales representative.
